At Wcommerce.store, we respect your privacy. This document explains what information we take when you create your store with us, how we use it, and how we keep it safe. It also explains how we handle your customers' details, including their WhatsApp messages, when you use Wcommerce to run your store.
Who we are
Wcommerce is a brand of Aware Precision Medicine Private Limited (CIN: U98200TS2023PTC170728). Our registered address is 8-2-334/1/1, Plot #6, Flat 203, LN's Hormony Park, Road No: 5, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, Telangana, India, 500034.
In this policy, "Wcommerce", "we" and "us" mean Aware Precision Medicine Private Limited. "You" means the store owner. "Customers" means the people who buy from or message your store.
1. Information we collect
Your Details: When you create a store, we ask for your name, phone number, and other contact details.
How You Use the Platform: We see how you use the platform — login time, device, and browser type.
Money Details: We take GST number and bank account details to make bills and send your store earnings.
Your Customers' Details: When customers order from your store, we receive their name, phone number, delivery address and order details, so that their order can be placed, delivered and supported.
WhatsApp Messages: If you connect your WhatsApp Business account to Wcommerce, we receive the messages your customers send to that account. This includes their phone number, WhatsApp profile name, the message, and the time it was sent. See Section 3.
Cookies and Tracking Tools: Our website and your store use cookies and similar tools. See Section 6.
2. How we use your information
To Run the Platform: We use your details to set up your store, manage sales, and handle payments.
To Talk to You: We may call or WhatsApp you about your store, give support, or share updates.
To Make It Better: We check usage data to improve our platform and services.
For Payments: We use GST and bank details to send your money safely.
To Reply to Your Customers: If you connect WhatsApp Business, we use your customers' messages to send replies about your products and orders, in your name.
3. WhatsApp Business and automated replies
Connecting WhatsApp Business is your choice. Selected brands can connect their own WhatsApp Business account to Wcommerce.
What we receive: When a customer messages your WhatsApp Business number, Wcommerce receives and processes the message for you. This includes the customer's phone number, WhatsApp profile name, the content of the message, and the time it was sent.
Why: To send automated replies about your products and orders.
Automated and AI replies: Replies may be sent by automated systems or written by AI. A customer can ask to speak to a person at any time.
Through Meta: Messages pass through Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API. Meta handles them under its own terms and privacy policy.
What we store, and for how long: We store the messages and the details above to send replies and to keep a record of each conversation for you. We keep each message for 1 year after it is sent, and then delete it. We never pass this data on to anyone for payment, and we never use it for advertising that has nothing to do with your store.
4. Your role and our role
Your customers' details, including WhatsApp messages: You decide why and how your customers' details are used. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the DPDP Act), this makes you the Data Fiduciary. Wcommerce handles these details for you and on your instructions, as your Data Processor. We use them only to provide the platform and the features you turn on.
Your own details: For the details in Section 1 that are about you, Wcommerce decides how they are used, so for these we are the Data Fiduciary.
As the Data Fiduciary for your customers, you are responsible for telling them how their details are used. Your store shows a privacy policy for this purpose.
5. Who we share with
Service Partners: Sometimes we share information with trusted partners who help us run the platform. These include payment gateways, delivery (logistics) companies, support tools, cloud hosting providers, Meta (including WhatsApp), and AI service providers. We share only what each partner needs to do its job. OPEN: name the AI provider once chosen
By Law: If police, court, or government ask, we may have to share your details.
6. Cookies and tracking tools
Our website: wcommerce.store uses Meta Pixel and Conversions API, Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Hotjar. These help us count visits, see how pages are used, and measure our advertising. Meta, Google and Hotjar handle this data under their own privacy policies.
Your store: If you switch on tracking for your store (Meta Pixel, Conversions API, Google Analytics or Google Ads), information about your store's visitors is sent to Meta and Google for you.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of our website may not work properly if you do.
7. How long we keep your information
Your account: We keep your details while your store is active.
Records the law requires: We keep transaction records, such as invoices and GST filings, for 7 years, because Indian tax law requires it.
WhatsApp messages: Kept for 1 year after they are sent, as explained in Section 3.
When you ask us to delete: We finish deleting your store and data within 30 days of verifying your request, except for the records we must keep by law.
8. How we keep your data safe
We use security systems to protect your data from misuse.
But no system is 100% safe. We always try our best to keep it secure.
